Greater macroinvertebrate diversity and freshwater mussel density in meander margins of an Amazon river

These data were collected in the Caeté river, located in north-eastern Pará state, in Brazil’s eastern Amazon. Five meanders were divided into two zones with different hydrodynamics: the meander margin (MM), which was located on the outer meander margin, and the meander thalweg (MT) which was located in the middle of the river channel.

本数据集采集自巴西东部亚马逊区域帕拉州东北部的卡埃蒂河（Caeté River）。研究选取5处曲流，依据水动力特征差异将其划分为两个区域：其一为曲流外缘（MM），即位于曲流外侧边缘的区域；其二为曲流深泓线（MT），即位于河道中央的区域。
