To investigate the effect of centromere distribution on genome-wide DNA methylation status during mitotic interphase in plants, bisulfite-sequencing analysis was performed on Arabidopsis mutants of condensin II and CRWNs that show abnormal centromere distribution.

为探究植物有丝分裂间期（mitotic interphase）内着丝粒（centromere）分布对全基因组DNA甲基化（genome-wide DNA methylation）状态的影响，研究人员对表现出异常着丝粒分布的拟南芥（Arabidopsis）凝缩蛋白II（condensin II）与CRWNs突变体开展了亚硫酸氢盐测序（bisulfite-sequencing）分析。
