The goal of this study was to close and annotate the Erythrobacter litoralis DSM 8509 genome, which enables a more complete genetic, genomic, and evolutionary analysis of photobiology in this ecologically-important genus of the Alphaproteobacteria clade.本研究旨在完成海滨红杆菌（Erythrobacter litoralis）DSM 8509的基因组闭合组装与注释工作，借此可为α-变形菌纲（Alphaproteobacteria）这一具有重要生态意义的菌属的光生物学研究提供更为完整的遗传学、基因组学与进化分析基础。
