MenoBench: Menopausal Endocrine Transition Benchmark (Evaluation Questions and Metadata)

MenoBench is an open, clinician-anchored question set for evaluating large language model (LLM) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) system answer quality on the menopausal endocrine transition — peri-, meno-, and postmenopause, including surgical menopause, premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), and chemotherapy-induced menopause. The benchmark contains 124 open-ended clinical evaluation items across two difficulty tiers (hard, very hard), all eight STRAW+10 hormonal phase labels, three query types (patient, clinician, evidence_policy), and ten error taxonomy targets. Every item cites real, named studies and guidelines as required knowledge anchors; no findings are fabricated. Plausible but unconfirmed specifics are flagged `[VERIFY]`. This release contains question stems and metadata only. Gold answers are withheld pending clinical validation and are available to collaborators on request.
