Nitrogen (N)-deprivation plays important role for lipid accumulation in microalgae. Here we report the comparative physiological and genetic analyses of Chlorella sorokiniana strains from different environmental regions of arctic glacier (Chlorella-Arc), desert soil (Chlorella-Des) and temperate native lake (Chlorella-Nat) in response to N-deprivation, for screening the optimal strain for biodiesel production.

氮饥饿(N-deprivation)在微藻脂质积累过程中发挥重要作用。本研究针对分别来自北极冰川(Chlorella-Arc)、荒漠土壤(Chlorella-Des)及温带天然湖泊(Chlorella-Nat)的三株索氏小球藻(Chlorella sorokiniana),开展了其响应氮饥饿胁迫的比较生理学与遗传学分析,以期筛选出适用于生物柴油生产的最优藻株。
