These data were compiled in support of the Post-2026 Operational Guidelines and Strategies for Lake Powell and Lake Mead (Post 2026) Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). These data were outputs from models that estimate annual minimum dissolved oxygen and daily water temperature in the Colorado River below Glen Canyon Dam. The objective of our study was to predict water temperatures and dissolved oxygen concentrations from 2027 to 2060 under eight different alternatives representing different Colorado River water management scenarios. The alternatives were implemented under multiple hydrologies (for a total of 1200 unique possible futures per alternative).
本数据集为支撑针对鲍威尔湖(Lake Powell)与米德湖(Lake Mead)的《2026年后运营指南与策略》(下称“2026年后”)环境影响报告书(Environmental Impact Statement, EIS)编制而成。该数据集源自用于估算格兰峡谷大坝(Glen Canyon Dam)下游科罗拉多河(Colorado River)年度最低溶解氧(dissolved oxygen)浓度与逐日水体水温的模型输出结果。本研究的目标为,针对代表不同科罗拉多河水资源管理情景的8种备选方案,预测2027年至2060年的水体温度与溶解氧浓度。每种备选方案均在多组水文情景下开展模拟,最终每个备选方案对应总计1200种独特的未来可能场景。
