Anonymised Dataset on Overconfidence Biases in Social Prediction Tasks Among Young Decision Makers

This dataset was collected as part of an experimental study examining overconfidence biases—specifically overestimation, overplacement, and miscalibration—among university students during a social prediction task. Participants were asked to estimate the likelihood of their own and their peers’ success in a music-related guessing activity. The data include coded responses in both Excel and SPSS formats and have been fully anonymised.
