In this study the focus was on undergraduate students from different contextual backgrounds to try to obtain a more holistic, insightful explanation of supportive factors affecting their wellbeing. Undergraduate students from the Health Sciences who participated in the face-to-face brief interviews and a focus group session. The current study describes and explores factors supporting the wellbeing of undergraduate students using a qualitative, phenomenological approach by conducting a secondary analysis of an existing data set. To be specific, the phenomenological stance is used in the form of an interpretative epistemological paradigm. Convenience and purposive sampling were implemented. Data were generated through brief face-to-face interviews (n=427) and a focus group (n=6). The data were analysed by means of Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis.

本研究聚焦于来自不同情境背景的本科生,旨在更全面、深入地阐释影响其身心健康福祉的支撑性因素。研究对象为参与了面对面简短访谈与焦点小组讨论的健康科学专业本科生。本研究采用质性现象学研究方法,通过对现有数据集进行二次分析,对支撑本科生身心健康福祉的相关因素展开描述与探索。具体而言,本研究以解释主义认识论范式为依托,采用现象学研究立场。研究采用便利抽样与目的抽样相结合的抽样策略。研究数据来源于427次简短面对面访谈与1场参与者共6人的焦点小组讨论,数据采用解释性现象学分析(Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis)方法进行分析。
