Road safety survey 1986

This is the sixth study in a series of annual surveys on road safety conducted since 1981. The study is conducted by Statistics Sweden on behalf of the Traffic Safety Board, which had the overall responsibility for road safety in Sweden in 1986. Today the study is conducted on behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration.

The study aims to identify and analyse traffic safety statistics. This is done by a written questionnaire directed to a stratified sample of the population. The study from 1986 had a 78,2 percent response rate and a sample of 4 243 randomly selected people aged between 15 and 74 years.

The questions in the study include, for example, traffic behaviour and traffic patterns; attitudes to road safety and traffic rules, the relation between alcohol and traffic and child safety in traffic. Both motor traffic, bicycle and foot traffic is concerned. A total of 32 questions are used, including descriptive questions, estimation questions and attitude questions.

本数据集为自1981年起开展的道路安全年度系列调查中的第六项研究。本研究由瑞典统计局（Statistics Sweden）于1986年受瑞典交通安全局（Traffic Safety Board）委托开展——彼时该局承担瑞典全国道路安全的统筹管理职责；如今该研究的委托方为瑞典交通管理局（Swedish Transport Administration）。

本研究旨在识别并分析道路安全统计数据，具体通过针对分层抽样人群发放书面问卷的方式实施。1986年的本次调查有效回收率为78.2%，共抽取4243名年龄介于15至74岁的随机受访者。

本次调研的问卷内容涵盖交通行为与出行模式、对道路安全及交通规则的态度、酒驾关联问题以及道路出行中的儿童安全等；研究覆盖机动车交通、自行车交通及步行交通三类出行方式。本次调研共设置32道问题，涵盖描述性问题、估算类问题与态度类问题三类题型。
