Microtubule Engagement is altered in taxane resistant gastric cancer

Our study identifies a subset of gastric cancer patients with intrinsic taxane resistance, evidenced by absence of on-target engagement in cell lines and tumor biopsies. Drug-target engagement can potentially serve as an early marker of patient response to taxane treatment.

本研究鉴定出一类存在固有紫杉烷（taxane）耐药性的胃癌患者亚群，该亚群经证实于细胞系及肿瘤活检样本中均未发生靶标结合。药物-靶标结合情况有望作为患者对紫杉烷治疗产生应答的早期预测标志物。
