Reproduction-immunity trade-off in females of the European earwig

These data were collected on females European earwig forficula auricularia, after infection by Serratia marcescens. Comparison of immune parameter between female before and after oviposition wes performed by measuring the total hemcoytes count (THC), the phenoloxydase activity (Vmax_PO) and the propotion of the three types of heamocytes (prop_type1, prop_type2 and prop_type3) observed in this study.
