Expression of genes encoding plant biomass degrading enzymes in ascomycetes is controlled by transcriptional activators that respond to the presence of monomeric components of plant polymers. It can be expected that a similar system exists in basidiomycetes, but no homologs of the ascomycete regulators could be identified in basidiomycetes. To identify candidate regulators of plant biomass degradation in D. squalens, transcriptomics on monomeric carbon sources will be analyzed.
子囊菌(Ascomycetes)中编码植物生物质降解酶的基因的表达,受可响应植物聚合物单体组分的转录激活因子(transcriptional activators)调控。可以预期担子菌(Basidiomycetes)中存在类似的调控系统,但目前尚未在担子菌中鉴定到子囊菌调控因子的同源物(homologs)。为了鉴定鳞皮多孔菌(D. squalens)中参与植物生物质降解的候选调控因子,本研究将对以单体碳源(monomeric carbon sources)为培养条件的转录组学(transcriptomics)数据进行分析。
