Data for Paper: Population-wide failure to breed in the Clark’s nutcracker

(1) Body measurements of all Clark’s nutcrackers trapped 2009 – 2012. Data used to evaluate adult body condition index. (2) Body condition index and associated Julian date of capture and fat score. (3) Number of days I tracked each radio tagged bird (2010-2012). (4) Habitat at nest and nest building locations. (5) Habitat at occupancy survey points. (6) Average environmental conditions during breeding and nonbreeding years. (7) Habitat at daily work locations. (8) Tree species codes. For continuous measures of cone crop, snowpack and temperature, see third party sources: Whitebark pine cone crop data was obtained from a third party and can be requested from the Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team (http://www.nrmsc.usgs.gov/research/igbst-home.htm). Snowpack and temperature data are available online from the United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service Togwotee Pass SNOTEL station (http://www.wcc.nrcs.usda.gov).
