We simulated the dynamics of an AlphaFold2-generated model of the E. coli FtsQLBWI divisome complex. Simulations reveal the importance of FtsQLB on stabilizing FtsWI in an active-like state, the role of the bound activator FtsN, and the effects of various superfission and dominant negative mutations on important interfaces formed within the complex.
