An endophytic bacterium was isolated from the stems of rice by dilution plating method. The strain was identified by morphological, physiological and biochemical tests and 16S rRNA sequencing. The growth-promoting function mechanism of the strain was analyzed based on the second-generation Illumina whole-genome sequencing technology. The secondary metabolite gene clusters were predicted by antiSMASH. The growth-promoting performance of the strain was evaluated by growth-promoting performance tests, rice seed germination and seedling tests.
