The primary purpose of this study was to determine if the clonal spread of methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) strains was occurring in mastitic and healthy dairy cattle in a Paso Del Norte diary. In addition, we also report the draft genomes of two unique S. aureus bovine strains.

本研究的核心目的为探究帕索德尔诺特（Paso Del Norte）某奶牛场中，患乳腺炎与健康奶牛体内是否存在耐甲氧西林金黄色葡萄球菌（methicillin-resistant S. aureus, MRSA）的克隆传播。此外，本研究还报道了两株独特的牛源金黄色葡萄球菌的草图基因组。
