In this study, we collected 32 samples of honey bee-collected pollen from colonies situated in the corn and soybean dominated agroecosystems of central Ohio during the month of May of 2015. We conducted plant metabarcoding, targeting the trnL, trnH, rbcL and ITS2 markers, to characterize the taxonomic origins of each sample.
