LIFELINES biobank

Lifelines is a longitudinal multigenerational population cohort and biobank founded in 2006. Lifelines includes over 167,000 participants, covering 10% of the population in the three northern provinces of the Netherlands. We follow our participants, who have all ages and are often members of the same families. The aim of Lifelines is to be a resource for the national and international scientific community searching for insights into healthy ageing. To facilitare research we make our collected biosamples (e.g. blood and urine) and data (e.g. questionnaires, diagnostic instruments, and physical measurements) available for use on the condition of a valid project proposal, a signed DMTA, and a fee to cover our sample- and datamanagement services and secure data access infrastructure.

Lifelines是始建于2006年的纵向多代人口队列及生物样本库（biobank）。该队列涵盖超过16.7万名参与者，覆盖荷兰北部三个省份总人口的10%。研究团队将对涵盖全年龄段且多来自同一家庭的参与者进行长期追踪。Lifelines的建设目标是为国内外科研共同体提供研究资源，助力探索健康老龄化的相关规律。为推动相关研究开展，本队列将所收集的生物样本（如血液、尿液）及各类数据（如调查问卷、诊断工具、体格测量数据）对外开放使用，但需满足以下条件：提交有效的项目申请、签署资料与材料转让协议（Data Material Transfer Agreement，DMTA），并缴纳用于覆盖样本与数据管理服务及安全数据访问基础设施运维的相关费用。
