NIH Cardiovascular Repository for Type 1 Diabetes (CaRe-T1D). Homo sapiens

CaRe-T1D collects tissues from relevant donor groups, processes these tissues for biobanking, and distributes the samples to approved investigators who seek to determine the mechanisms by which type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes promote cardiovascular disease development. One of our goals is fostering collaboration amongst these investigators to identify therapies to treat and ultimately prevent the cardiovascular complications associated with diabetes.CaRe-T1D 从相关供体群体采集组织样本，针对生物样本库（biobanking）的标准流程对样本进行规范化处理，并将样本分发至获批的研究人员。此类研究人员旨在阐明1型糖尿病（type 1 diabetes）与2型糖尿病（type 2 diabetes）促进心血管疾病（cardiovascular disease）发生发展的具体机制。本项目的目标之一，是推动上述研究人员之间的协作，以确定可用于治疗并最终预防糖尿病相关心血管并发症的治疗方案。
