Plants host a diversity of fungi collectively called mycobiota, which play key roles in plant vital functions. However, whether the mycobiota orginates from seed (vertical transmission) or soil (horizontal transmission) is poolry characterized. We sequenced the leaves and seed mycobiota of Haloxylon salicornicum, a common desert shrub. In vitro, we germinated seeds in in situ bulk soil either autoclaved or not and sequenced the mycobiota of seedling's leaves and roots.植物宿主定殖有一类统称为真菌群落（mycobiota）的多样真菌类群，这类类群在植物的关键生命活动中发挥核心作用。然而，该真菌群落究竟通过种子垂直传播（vertical transmission）还是土壤水平传播（horizontal transmission）获得，目前仍缺乏充分的研究表征。本研究对常见荒漠灌木盐节木（Haloxylon salicornicum）的叶片与种子真菌群落进行了测序。在实验室条件下，我们将种子分别播种于经高压灭菌与未灭菌的原位原状土壤中萌发，并对幼苗的叶片与根系真菌群落开展了测序。
