Madrigal系统是由美国麻省理工大学Haystack观象台开发,将全球非相干散射雷达、GPS、中频雷达、流星雷达等综合探测资料进行处理、集成的系统。该系统基于web开发,具有数据下载、数据图像展示等功能,系统数据实时更新,提供了全球多种中高层大气观测仪器的观测数据。Madrigal系统采用分布式的数据架构,各数据节点可以控制修改本节点数据,同时修改后的数据与中心节点进行自动同步。系统支持多种数据格式下载,包括ASCII文件、二进制文件及HDF5格式等,方便用户使用自己熟悉的数据格式下载数据。系统数据可以通过web界面选择下载,同时系统也开放了API接口,用户可以通过MATLAB、Python、IDL等工具编程自动批量下载(系统提供辅助用户编写批量下载数据的代码的功能)。地质与地球物理研究所建有此系统的国内镜像站,系统面向用户免费公开使用。
The Madrigal system was developed by the Haystack Observatory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States. It integrates and processes comprehensive sounding data from global incoherent scatter radars, GPS receivers, intermediate frequency radars, meteor radars, and other related detection instruments. Built on a web-based platform, the system offers functions including data downloading and data visualization, with real-time updated datasets, and provides observational data from multiple global middle and upper atmospheric observation instruments. The Madrigal system adopts a distributed data architecture: each data node can manage and modify its local data, and the modified data will be automatically synchronized with the central node. The system supports data downloading in multiple formats, including ASCII files, binary files, and HDF5 format, enabling users to download data in their preferred familiar formats. Users can access data downloads via the web interface, and the system also provides an open API. Users can utilize tools such as MATLAB, Python, and IDL to implement automated batch data downloading, and the system offers assistance for users to write batch download codes. The Institute of Geology and Geophysics has established a domestic mirror site of this system, which is freely accessible to all users.
