The China 1-kilometer Grid Population Spatial Distribution Dataset is developed based on national county-level demographic statistics. It comprehensively incorporates multiple factors closely correlated with population, including land use types, nighttime light brightness, and settlement density, and adopts the multi-factor weight allocation method to disaggregate the population data that takes administrative divisions as the basic statistical units onto spatial grids, thereby realizing the spatialization of population data.
