Tall fescue (Lolium arundinaceum) clones harboring different non-ergot producing fungal endophyte, Epichloe coenophiala strains were sequenced to characterize the endophyte transcriptome. One experiment was done in the field comparing expression of NTE04-11 in the field under ambient conditions and the under increased heat and altered precipitation regime. All other sequences were derived from single (non-replicated) plants grown in the greenhouse harboring different non-ergot producing endophyte strains as labeled in the sequence name. All endophyte strains were inoculated into the KY31 cultivar.

本研究针对携带不同不产麦角生物碱的香柱菌(Epichloe coenophiala)菌株的高羊茅(Lolium arundinaceum)克隆株开展测序,以表征该内生真菌的转录组。其中一项田间实验对比了NTE04-11在自然环境以及增温、降水格局改变条件下的基因表达情况。其余所有序列均来自温室种植的单株(无生物学重复)植物,这些植物携带的不同不产麦角生物碱的内生真菌菌株信息已在序列名称中标注。所有内生真菌菌株均已接种至KY31品种中。
