Site Images and GIS Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at Manor Farm, Church Road, Kessingland, Suffolk, October 2020

This collection consists of site images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation at Manor Farm, Church Road, Kessingland, Suffolk. Works were carried out by Cotswold Archaeology in October 2020. Eight trenches were excavated with archaeological deposits, comprising twelve possible post holes, ten pits and twenty-one ditches, recorded in seven of those. A relatively large assemblage of pottery was collected from a number of features suggesting continuing domestic occupation from the early medieval through to the post medieval periods, with small quantities of residual prehistoric worked flint also recovered from these later features.
