In vitro verification of Gretel haplotype recovery method. Gretel Haplotype Verification

We have developed a novel probabilistic method for reconstructing haplotypes for any particular genomic region of interest within a metagenomic dataset. Implemented in the twin software tools Hansel and Gretel, the algorithm performs incremental probabilistic haplotype recovery using Naive Bayes. This study includes sequence data generated in order to verify the Hansel and Gretel computational method, for extraction of haplotypes from short-read metagenome data.本研究开发了一种新型概率方法，可实现宏基因组数据集（metagenomic dataset）内任意指定目标基因组区域的单倍型（haplotypes）重构。该算法依托双生软件工具Hansel与Gretel实现，采用朴素贝叶斯（Naive Bayes）方法执行增量式概率单倍型恢复流程。本研究生成的测序数据均用于验证Hansel与Gretel计算方法，以完成从短读长宏基因组数据（short-read metagenome data）中提取单倍型的任务。
