Diabetes poses a tremendous threat to human health. Exocrine pancreatic dysfunction is related to diabetes, but the exact mechanism is not fully understood. In this study, the high-fat and high-sucrose dietary interventions were performed on diabetes susceptible transgenic pigs (PIGinH11) and wild pigs. And the molecular mechanism of pancreatic endocrine and exocrine damage was analyzed by histopathology and single nucleus RNA sequencing. single-nucleus RNA sequencing of pancreatic cells from one wild-type pig and transgenic pig.
糖尿病对人类健康构成极大威胁。外分泌胰腺功能障碍(exocrine pancreatic dysfunction)与糖尿病相关,但其具体作用机制尚未完全阐明。本研究针对糖尿病易感转基因猪(PIGinH11)与野生猪开展高脂高糖膳食干预,并通过组织病理学(histopathology)与单细胞核RNA测序(single-nucleus RNA sequencing)分析胰腺内分泌与外分泌损伤的分子机制;同时对1头野生型猪与1头转基因猪的胰腺细胞开展单细胞核RNA测序。
