Victorian subtidal reef monitoring program (SRMP) - Wilsons Promontory Marine National Park (GovHack 2016)

Long term subtidal reef monitoring program associated with Victorias Marine National Parks and Marine Sanctuaries. The program commenced in May 1998 and includes sites inside and outside of selected marine protected areas. There are over 100 sites established between Merri Marine Sanctuary in the west to Cape Howe in the east . The methods use standardised Edgar-Barrett underwater visual census methods to quantify: abundance and size of mobile fishes and cephalopods; abundance and size of megafaunal invertebrates; and points-cover of seaweeds and seagrasses. The program also uses stereo video (DOVS) for fish abundance and size measurements and collects data on string kelp Macrocystis pyrifera density and sea urchin barrens.\r\n\r\nLong term monitoring data by underwater scientific diver census of fish, inverrtebrates and seaweeds for Wilsons Promontory Marine National Park.This data is not official Parks Victoria data and has only been published (temporarily) for the intent of use by Govhack (2016) participants.

本数据集为威尔逊岬海洋国家公园的鱼类、无脊椎动物及海藻长期监测数据，由水下科学潜水员通过普查方式采集。本数据并非维多利亚州公园管理局的官方数据，仅为2016年Govhack活动参与者临时发布以供使用。
