Signal-noise metrics for RNA binding protein identification reveal broad spectrum protein-RNA interaction frequencies and dynamics

The identification of RNA-bound proteomes is hampered by a lack of quantitative metrics for evaluating RNA binding function. We report LEAP-RBP as a highly selective and cost effective method for the purification of RNA-bound proteins and introduce signal-based metrics for robust profiling of RNA-bound proteomes.

RNA结合蛋白质组的鉴定工作长期受限于缺乏可用于评估RNA结合功能的量化指标。本研究提出LEAP-RBP作为一种高选择性、经济高效的RNA结合蛋白质纯化方法，并引入基于信号的量化指标，以实现RNA结合蛋白质组的可靠表征分析。
