The identification of RNA-bound proteomes is hampered by a lack of quantitative metrics for evaluating RNA binding function. We report LEAP-RBP as a highly selective and cost effective method for the purification of RNA-bound proteins and introduce signal-based metrics for robust profiling of RNA-bound proteomes.
