Notre Dame Cathedral fence

This fence of the choir is one of the last existing architectural models that show the beauty of the choir alone without intrusion of the other parts of the building. The rest has in fact been destroyed after the counter-reformation. Realised between 1519 and 1727, this is a great example of French sculpture and architecture. The presentation of Mary at the Temple and the adoration of the wise men is situated inside a niche with with flamboyant details which is attributed to Jehan Soulas.这座唱诗班席围栏是现存为数不多的、能够纯粹展现唱诗班席美感而不受建筑其他部分干扰的建筑遗存之一。其余相关建筑实则在反宗教改革运动后被毁。该围栏的建造周期为1519年至1727年，是法国雕塑与建筑艺术的杰出范例。壁龛内展现了圣母献堂礼与智者朝觐的场景，其装饰细节华丽繁复，该作品被认为出自让·苏拉（Jehan Soulas）之手。
