IntroductionInsulin resistance (IR) could be regarded as a therapeutic target for metabolic diseases. Therefore, multiple therapeutic strategies that target IR should be applied to provide a more effective means of treatment. It aims to determine Tuina’s efficacy and safety for IR through this systematic review and meta-analysis.MethodsFrom the inception to July 31, 2023, we will search four English databases (Pubmed, Embase, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Web of Science) and two Chinese databases (China National Knowledge Infrastructure and the Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Database). We will search and include studies of both human and animal models that evaluate Tuina’s effects on insulin sensitivity or resistance. Data selection, data extraction, and risk of bias assessment will be made by two independent reviewers. We will evaluate the methodological quality of all included studies and conduct meta-analyses using Review Manager Software 5.4.1.DiscussionIn both animal and human studies, the effects and safety of Tuina for IR will be evaluated. The evidence generated bythis study will validate effects and safety of Tuinain treating IR and inform future research and clinical decision-making.Trail registrationPROSPERO Registration ID: CRD42022360128.

引言:胰岛素抵抗(Insulin resistance, IR)可被视为代谢性疾病的治疗靶点,因此针对胰岛素抵抗的多种治疗策略的应用,可为临床提供更为有效的治疗途径。本系统评价与Meta分析旨在评估推拿(Tuina)治疗胰岛素抵抗的疗效与安全性。 方法:检索时限设定为各数据库建库至2023年7月31日,检索范围涵盖4个英文数据库:PubMed、Embase、考克兰对照试验中心注册库(Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials)、Web of Science,以及2个中文数据库:中国知网(China National Knowledge Infrastructure)、中文科技期刊数据库(Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Database)。本研究将纳入评估推拿对胰岛素敏感性或抵抗影响的人体及动物模型类研究。由2名独立评价者分别完成文献筛选、数据提取及偏倚风险评估,同时对所有纳入研究的方法学质量进行评价,并采用Review Manager 5.4.1软件开展Meta分析。 讨论:本研究将综合动物与人体研究数据,评估推拿治疗胰岛素抵抗的疗效与安全性。本研究生成的证据将验证推拿治疗胰岛素抵抗的有效性与安全性,为后续相关研究及临床决策提供参考依据。 试验注册:PROSPERO注册编号:CRD42022360128。
