Draft genome of Streptomyces ferrovit -An endophytic streptomyces isolated from Tomato Plant (Lycopersicum esculantum)

Streptomyces ferrovit is an endophytic streptomyces sps found in the tomato plant. Sequencing of the genome revealed the presence of biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs) are responsible for the metabolism of a different of secondary metabolites rich in siderophores.

亚铁链霉菌（Streptomyces ferrovit）是一种定殖于番茄植株内的内生链霉菌属菌株。对其基因组进行测序后发现，该菌株基因组中存在生物合成基因簇（BGCs），此类基因簇负责代谢合成一类富含铁载体的次级代谢产物。
