GBS data for Centaurea tenorei sensu lato and related species

The Centaurea tenorei group encompasses taxa that are narrowly endemic to the Sorrento Peninsula (Southern Italy) with a complex evolutionary and taxonomic history caused by hybridization and high morphological variability. In this study, we used a panel of SNPs obtained via genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) to assess population structure and admixture in this group. We also used ploidy information from traditional chromosome counts and NGS estimations.

特诺里矢车菊类群（Centaurea tenorei group）包含狭域特有于意大利南部索伦托半岛的类群，其因杂交事件与高度的形态变异，演化及分类学历史极为复杂。本研究借助通过测序分型（genotyping-by-sequencing, GBS）技术获得的单核苷酸多态性（Single Nucleotide Polymorphism, SNPs）标记集，对该类群的种群结构与遗传混合情况进行评估。此外，本研究还采用了源自传统染色体计数与下一代测序（next-generation sequencing, NGS）估算的倍性信息。
