2005年，深圳证券交易所颁布实施了《深圳证券交易所上市公司信息披露工作考核办法》，并开始对上市公司信息披露质量进行评级，上海证券交易所则于2016年起开始这项工作。  在评分标准方面，上交所和深交所略有不同，深交所在2005至2010年分别从上市公司日常信息披露的及时性、准确性、完整性、合法性四个方面，结合上市公司受奖惩情况、与证券监管机构的工作配合情况、投资者关系管理情况等各方面的因素，对上市公司一年来的信息披露工作进行了多维度考评，最终形成：优秀、良好、及格、不及格，合计4类考评结果。

In 2005, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) enacted and implemented the "Measures for the Assessment of Information Disclosure Work of Listed Companies of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange", and initiated the rating of information disclosure quality for listed companies. The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) launched this work starting from 2016.

Regarding the scoring criteria, the SSE and SZSE differ slightly. From 2005 to 2010, the SZSE carried out a multi-dimensional assessment of the annual information disclosure work of listed companies based on four dimensions: timeliness, accuracy, completeness and legitimacy of daily information disclosure, combined with multiple factors including the rewards and penalties received by listed companies, their cooperation with securities regulatory authorities, and investor relationship management. Four types of assessment results were finally formed: Excellent, Good, Pass and Fail.
