Leukippos Institute workflow

Leukippos is a synthetic biology lab in the cloud. Together with us you can independently of your location do awesome synbio projects. Everybody is welcome to join. The only thing you need is a computer with a terminal app. We discuss and develop our projects on the Leukippos group on Facebook. We then code together. We have chosen this dry lab focus, because this gives everybody the opportunity to participate. The only thing you need is access to any computing device, which can run a terminal app. With this you access a cloud computer on Amazon Web Services. You use a t1 micro instance running Ubuntu (Linux). You can get the code we are working on from GitHub and store it there again. The code gets deployed through Heroku. The resulting web app is then ready to use and discuss on in our Leukippos group on Facebook.
