Soil microbial communities in a dryland ecosystem

To examine the microbial functional potential in the decomposition of SOC and its constituent, we conducted a SOC mineralization experiment and characterized soil microbial functional genes for SOC decomposition in three revegetation shrublands in the Mu Us Desert of northern China为探究土壤有机碳（Soil Organic Carbon，SOC）及其组分在分解过程中的微生物功能潜力，我们在中国北方毛乌素沙地的3处植被恢复灌丛中开展了SOC矿化实验，并针对参与SOC分解的土壤微生物功能基因进行了表征分析。
