Patients with Down syndrome (DS) is often accompanied by increased rate of infections, hypertention, objectivity and gastrointestinal disorders, which are the most common abnormal and have a significant impact on their daily life, the gut microbiota plays an important role in maintaining the gut's homeostasis and improving immunity and has been linked to the development of obesity, hypertension, and colon cancer. However, there are few studies on the intestinal flora and the mother's reproductive tract flora of children with DS in childhood. Therefore, the 16S sequencing technology was used to analyze and explore the intestinal flora of children with DS and the microbial abundance and diversity composition in the mother's reproductive tract.
唐氏综合征(Down syndrome, DS)患者常伴随感染发生率升高、高血压、肥胖及胃肠道功能紊乱,上述异常为该群体最常见的并发症,且对其日常生活造成显著影响。肠道菌群(gut microbiota)在维持肠道稳态、增强机体免疫功能方面发挥重要作用,且与肥胖、高血压及结肠癌的发生发展密切相关。然而,目前针对儿童期唐氏综合征患儿的肠道菌群及其母亲生殖道菌群的相关研究仍较为匮乏。因此,本研究采用16S测序技术(16S sequencing technology),分析并探究唐氏综合征患儿的肠道菌群,以及其母亲生殖道菌群的微生物丰度与多样性组成。
