This study represents the first global survey of genes involved in flowering-time regulation, which led to the identification of 45 flowering-time-related unigenes. LHY, COL2, COL5, FLC and FT showed differential expression between libraries based on DGE analysis, and their expression was significantly associated with other flowering time-related unigenes. This transcriptome analysis provides valuable information about flowering time genes, which will facilitate further research into floral developmental mechanisms.
本研究为首项针对开花时间调控相关基因的全球性系统性筛查,成功鉴定出45个与开花时间相关的单基因簇(unigene)。通过数字基因表达分析(Digital Gene Expression, DGE)发现,LHY、COL2、COL5、FLC及FT在不同测序文库间呈现差异表达,且其表达水平与其他开花时间相关单基因簇显著相关。本转录组分析为开花时间相关基因的研究提供了极具价值的参考信息,将有力推动植物花发育调控机制的后续研究。
