We examined the molecular pathways underlying the DAPM-induced pulmonary arterial hypertension in intact and ovariectomized female rats. Overall design: 11-15 week old female (intact and ovariectomized) Sprague-Dawley rats were treated with vehicle (35% ethanol) and 25mg/kg DAPM orally once weekly for 12 weeks.
