Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic inflammatory disease with an increasing incidence year by year, and its pathogenesis may be related to factors such as dysbiosis of intestinal flora. Miao sour soup (MSS), a fermented food for daily consumption in Guizhou, China, is rich in microorganisms with many excellent activities, including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. However, the therapeutic effects of MSS on IBD remain to be explored. The aim of this study was to investigate the protective effect of MSS against colitis in mice In this study, we investigated the community structure of MSS and the protective role of MSS in against dextran sulfate sodium salt (DSS)-induced colitis in mice. In this study, we examined the microbial community structure of MSS by metagenomic sequencing, and also explored the protective effect of MSS on DSS induced colitis in mice. We investigated the effects of MSS on intestinal inflammatory response and intestinal barrier function in mice. Finally, the changes of intestinal flora were analyzed based on the results of 16S rRNA gene sequencing.The results showed that MSS contained a variety of probiotics.
炎症性肠病(Inflammatory Bowel Disease, IBD)是一种发病率逐年升高的慢性炎症性疾病,其发病机制可能与肠道菌群失调等因素相关。苗家酸汤(Miao Sour Soup, MSS)是中国贵州地区日常食用的发酵食品,富含多种具有优异活性的微生物,涵盖抗炎与抗氧化活性。然而,苗家酸汤针对炎症性肠病的治疗效应仍有待探究。 本研究旨在探讨苗家酸汤对小鼠结肠炎的保护作用。具体而言,本研究分析了苗家酸汤的群落结构,并通过宏基因组测序表征了其微生物群落结构,同时考察了其对硫酸葡聚糖钠盐(Dextran Sulfate Sodium Salt, DSS)诱导的小鼠结肠炎的保护作用;此外,本研究还探究了苗家酸汤对小鼠肠道炎症反应与肠道屏障功能的影响。最后,基于16S rRNA基因测序结果分析了小鼠肠道菌群的变化情况。 研究结果显示,苗家酸汤中含有多种益生菌。
