资源简介:
Background This table is part of the supporting material for the article "Trans-local resilience dimensions of migration as adaptation to environmental change". It lists all field interactions that produced data for the research project "TransRe. Building resilience through translocality. Climate change, migration and social resilience of rural communities in Thailand": the quantitative survey, interviews, focus group discussions, support network mapping interviews, innovation network interviews. Each line of the table represents one field interaction on household level. This means that either the information obtained from the field interactions refers explicitly to the household level (in case of the househols survey), or, if it refers to individuals (e.g. interviews) or groups (e.g. FGDs), the respective household to which the individual(s) belonged, are stated (NB: the household reference in the part "Basic Information" has been removed to prevent re-identification of households and individuals.)
Data description It consists of 8 parts:
Basic Information lists the Province, province code and village code where all field interactions took place. Baseline Survey lists the household id and the date of enumeration of the household survey (see https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.21644426.v1 for the dataset). Sub2: Vulnerability lists the Focus Group Discussions and interviews for the TransRe sub-project on vulnerability: SUB2_Position: specifies the type of interviewee (villager = interview of household members on vulnerability trajectories; others = experts); SUB2_Date: date of interview / interaction; SUB2_Activity: Type of field interaction (interview, Focus Group Discussion); SUB2_Topic: key topic(s) of the interaction Sub3: Social Networks lists the Focus Group Discussions, Support network mappings, and Innovation network interviews for the TransRe subproject on translocal social networks: SUB3_Position: specifies the type of interviewee (household representative or expert); SUB3_Date: date of field interaction; SUB3_Activity: type of field interaction (Focus Group Discussions, Support network mappings, and Innovation network interviews); SUB3_Topic: general topics; Sub4a: Domestic migration lists the Focus Group Discussions and interviews for the TransRe subproject on domestic migration: SUB4A_Position: specifies the type of interviewee (type of migrant and characteristics); SUB4A_Date: date of field interaction; SUB4A_Activity: type of field interaction (Focus Group Discussions, interview); SUB4A_Topic: general topics; Sub4b: International migration lists the Focus Group Discussions and interviews for the TransRe subproject on international migration: SUB4B_Position: specifies the type of interviewee (type of migrant and characteristics); SUB4B_Date: date of field interaction; SUB4B_Activity: type of field interaction (Focus Group Discussions, interview); SUB4B_Topic: general topics; Sub5: Policy lists the expert interviews for the TransRe subproject on policy aspects of migration and adaptation: SUB5_Position: specifies the type of interviewee (type of expert); SUB5_Date: date of expert interview; Sub0A: Initial Exploration lists the Focus Group Discussions that were conducted in the initial stage of the TransRe project in order to establish basic knowledge of the field sites: SUB5_Position: specifies the type of interviewee (type of experts or participants); SUB5_Date: date of field interaction; SUB5_Activity: type of field interaction (Focus Group Discussions); SUB5_Topic: general topics
