Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired in the Caribbean Sea during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9902 (1999)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9902 conducted in 1999 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Michael Rawson). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Acoustic Backscatter, Sidescan, and Swath Bathymetry data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software as part of the GMRT Synthesis effort. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 2.1. Data were acquired while the Maurice Ewing was in transit.\r

本数据集依托船载Atlas Hydrosweep DS多波束声呐系统（Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system）采集，采集工作于1999年开展的Maurice Ewing号航次EW9902期间完成（首席科学家：Michael Rawson博士）。本数据集文件采用MBsystem格式，包含声学背散射（Acoustic Backscatter）、侧扫（Sidescan）及条带测深（Swath Bathymetry）数据，由GMRT团队借助开源MB-System多波束声呐处理软件完成处理，作为GMRT合成项目的组成部分。本数据集已纳入GMRT合成数据集V2.1版本。数据采集工作在Maurice Ewing号航行途中完成。
