We have compiled a list of colour anomalies in anurans by accessing papers published in the journals <em>Herpetological Review, Herpetology Notes</em>, and <em>Herpetological Bulletin</em>, as well as via Internet searches using the keywords ‘color/colour/coloration’, ‘anomaly/anomalies’, and ‘anurans/tadpoles’. Such a procedure was adopted because most of the anuran colour records are anecdotal and thus not published in highly indexed journals. We classified these records within six biogeographic realms (Nearctic, Neotropic, Palearctic, Afrotropic, Indomalayan, and Australasia) according to Dinerstein et al. (2017). Papers on chromatic anomalies in anurans published in the year 2022 were included in our review until the peer review deadline of our article
本研究通过检索《两栖爬行动物学评论》(Herpetological Review)、《两栖爬行动物学笔记》(Herpetology Notes)与《两栖爬行动物学通报》(Herpetological Bulletin)刊载的文献,并以"color/colour/coloration"(体色/颜色/色彩特征)、"anomaly/anomalies"(异常/异常现象)、"anurans/tadpoles"(无尾目(Anura)动物/蝌蚪)为关键词开展互联网检索,整理得到一份无尾目动物体色异常的记录列表。之所以采用该检索策略,是因为绝大多数无尾目动物体色异常的记录均为轶事性报道,未见于高影响力索引期刊。本研究参照Dinerstein等(2017)的划分标准,将上述记录归入6个生物地理界:新北界(Nearctic)、新热带界(Neotropic)、古北界(Palearctic)、非洲热带界(Afrotropic)、东洋界(Indomalayan)与澳新界(Australasia)。截至本文同行评审截止日期前发表的2022年度无尾目动物体色异常相关研究论文,均纳入本次综述。
