Air quality and noise data in Santo Domingo and Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic from May 18,2020 to January 26, 2021

Air and noise pollution affect the quality of life of any community. The data presented observes the noise level, eight air quality parameters and three weather parameters. The air quality parameters are carbon monoxide (CO), sulfur dioxide (SO2), ozone (O3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2); three particle-matter variables: ultrafine particulate matter (PM1), fine particulate matter (PM2.5), and coarse particulate matter (PM10). The weather parameters are temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure. The empirical measurements were collected every ten or twenty minutes in two cities of the Dominican Republic from May 18th, 2020 to January 26th, 2021. The data can provide insight on the changes in air quality and noise level and can be used to compare with other variables such as traffic conditions.大气与噪声污染会对所有社区的生活质量造成负面影响。本数据集记录了噪声水平、八项空气质量参数及三项气象参数。其中，空气质量参数涵盖一氧化碳（carbon monoxide, CO）、二氧化硫（sulfur dioxide, SO2）、臭氧（ozone, O3）、二氧化氮（nitrogen dioxide, NO2），以及三项颗粒物指标：超细颗粒物（ultrafine particulate matter, PM1）、细颗粒物（fine particulate matter, PM2.5）与粗颗粒物（coarse particulate matter, PM10）；气象参数则包括气温、相对湿度与大气压强。本次研究的实测数据采集自多米尼加共和国的两座城市，采集时段为2020年5月18日至2021年1月26日，采样间隔为10分钟或20分钟。本数据集可用于揭示空气质量与噪声水平的变化规律，亦可与交通状况等其他变量开展对比研究。
