GRID3 Guinea Settlement Extents Version 01, Alpha

NOTE: This initial version of the Guinea settlement extents has been superseded by the final version, "GRID3 Guinea Settlement Extents, Version 01", now available here: https://doi.org/10.7916/d8-s8qb-m166 The database constitutes a comprehensive set of settlement polygons nationwide. It is in geodatabase format and consists of three feature classes for built up areas (BUA), small settlement areas (SSA), and hamlets (hamlets). This work has been undertaken as part of the Geo-referenced Infrastructure and Demographic Data for Development (GRID3) initiative in Guinea. GRID3 works with countries to generate, validate and use geospatial data on population, settlements, infrastructure, and subnational boundaries. 本数据库包含覆盖全国的完整定居点多边形数据集。该数据集采用地理数据库（geodatabase）格式，包含三类要素类：建成区（built up areas, BUA）、小型定居点区域（small settlement areas, SSA）以及村落（hamlets）。

本工作作为几内亚境内地理参考基础设施与人口统计数据促进发展（Geo-referenced Infrastructure and Demographic Data for Development, GRID3）倡议的组成部分完成开发。GRID3与各国合作，开展人口、定居点、基础设施及次国家边界相关地理空间数据的生成、验证与应用工作。
