Pest-resistant plants usually utilize secondary metabolites to cope with insect infestation. Betulin, a key bioactive compound in aphid-resistant wild peach, possesses promising applications in crop protection. Here, betulin, in both greenhouse and field experiments, displayed excellent control efficacy against Myzus persicae. RNA-seq, qPCR, and western blotting revealed that betulin significantly inhibited the expression of MpGABR.

抗虫植物通常借助次生代谢物抵御昆虫侵染。白桦脂醇(Betulin)是抗蚜虫野生桃中的关键生物活性化合物,在作物保护领域具备良好的应用前景。本研究中,白桦脂醇在温室与田间试验中,对桃蚜(Myzus persicae)均展现出优异的防治效果。通过RNA测序(RNA-seq)、实时定量PCR(qPCR)以及蛋白质印迹法(western blotting)分析证实,白桦脂醇可显著抑制MpGABR的表达。
