Food Choice motives in a Brazilian sample - Food Choice Questionnaire

The dataset include 525 respondents over 18 years old of Limeira region (Brazil). The first data file include the raw data of socioeconomic status and Food Choice Questionnaire responses. The score of each indicators are provided. The second data file include a clean database, by removing the participants with missing values on any FCQ indicators. In this second database are provided the mean values FCQ extracted factors, after exploratory (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Eight factors were extracted, namely: nutritional composition, mood, health, sensory appeal, price, preparation convenience, familiarity, and purchase convenience.

本数据集包含巴西利梅拉（Limeira）地区525名18周岁及以上的受访者。首个数据文件包含社会经济地位与食物选择问卷（Food Choice Questionnaire）的原始应答数据，并提供了各指标的得分。第二个数据文件为清洗后的数据库，剔除了任意一项食物选择问卷指标存在缺失值的参与者；该数据库中提供了经探索性因子分析（Exploratory Factor Analysis, EFA）与验证性因子分析（Confirmatory Factor Analysis, CFA）后提取的食物选择问卷因子均值。本次共提取出8项因子，分别为：营养成分、情绪、健康、感官吸引力、价格、制备便利性、熟悉度以及购买便利性。
