Figure of Mark the Evangelist in front of the parish church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Laxenburg. The saint is the patron saint of the city of Venice, the island of Reichenau in Lake Constance, Egyptian Christianity and the professions of builder, bricklayer, glazier, basket maker, notary and scribe. His symbol is the lion of Saint Mark.
