The questionnaire tackles the question of success of companies entering the markets of European Union member states and third-country markets, the mechanisms used by companies in this regard, and the topics of social capital.
A purposive sampling method was used. The population is represented by High-tech companies in Slovenia. The determination of units in the population is based on the classification established by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Based on the OECD classification, conversion to the Standard Classification of Activities (SKD) and data collection in the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Services (AJPES), we determined population units that cover 364 companies as of 25 March 2011.
