Developing A Policing Style for Neighborhood Oriented Policing, 1986-1992

A report by Lee P. Brown, Chief of Police of Houston about the history of policing in the neighborhoods of Houston, 1986-1992. PART OF SERIES: In its probe of LAPD operations, the Webster Commission surveyed the emergency procedures of other major cities in the United States, many of which had experienced similar instances of civil unrest. The series contains materials that were acquired and studied by the Commission for this purpose.
