This study investigated the cellular and molecular effects of Dead Sea climatotherapy in psoriasis patients who achieved complete remission. Overall design: Skin punch biopsies from eight patients, who obtained PASI-100 response with climatotherapy, were obtained at baseline, end-of-treatment and relapse. Lesional skin (L) were collected at each visit, whereas non-lesional skin (NL) were only collected at the baseline visit. Bulk RNA sequencing was performed on extracted total RNA.

本研究探究了死海气候疗法(Dead Sea climatotherapy)对达到完全缓解的银屑病(psoriasis)患者产生的细胞与分子效应。 总体实验设计:招募8名经该疗法获得银屑病面积与严重程度指数100(PASI-100)应答的患者,分别在基线、治疗结束及复发三个时间点采集其皮肤钻孔活检标本;每次访视均采集皮损区皮肤(L)样本,非皮损区皮肤(NL)仅在基线访视时采集。对提取的总RNA开展批量RNA测序(bulk RNA sequencing)。
